I aspire to help clients find their exact lens, both providing clarity and a decrease in undesirable symptoms—even if that's only coffee table bruises. In addition to being a counselor, I work as a professional movement artist with 27 years of training and experience. I incorporate my understanding of the mind-body connection into my therapeutic approach, paying particular attention to psychoanalytic patterns and emotional expression. This unique perspective can provide you with a greater understanding of yourself and your behavior. I combine this atypical perspective with certification in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, education in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and a natural interest in existentialism, Gestalt, and Jungian theories to create a holistic and individualized counseling experience. Due to how eclectic my approach is, its adaptable to clients from diverse populations.
