I have worked in the mental health field since 2002. I graduated from California State University, Fullerton, with a Master’s in Marriage, Family, and Child Therapy. Prior to that, I earned my Bachelor's degree from the Medical School Library of Tehran Medical University. Before entering mental health, I worked as a pediatric nurse in different countries, including at the University Zurich Hospital in Switzerland. I am licensed in the states of California and New York. I have worked in multidisciplinary settings, including 15 years as a psychiatric liaison in the emergency room at TCMC Hospital.
