Getting to know Sue Tepper

I grew up in Somerset County with my parents and 4 sisters. My amazing parents taught us to be giving and caring, to help others when we can. Both of my parents and sisters were involved in service organizations. I attended College in Pennsylvania earning a bachelors in Sociology and worked for years in the criminal justice system. It was there that I realized I wanted to do more to help others, so I went back to school and earned a master’s in social work at Rutgers University. I was trained and practiced family therapy in agency settings until I took some time off to focus on raising my two children. In 2007 I formed Budd Therapy Group, LLC, opening a private practice so I could continue to help others while raising my children. After the last child went to college, I switched focus to agency work first at a Domestic Violence agency and then at Catholic Charities overseeing the clinical programs in Somerset County. Today I continue to focus on helping others through both agency and private practice. My passion is to help others; I have been a licensed clinician for over 15 years, and I believe that everyone deserves to be happy and safe. My goal is to assist you with being your best; being comfortable with who you are and how you feel.
