Sule Anibaba, AMFT

Psychotherapist
CA
The provider is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and is currently working under the supervision of a licensed practitioner. Their current employer is Remarkable Services. One of the bravest things you can do is ask for help. Life can sometimes feel like a path without direction, leaving you lost, overwhelmed, or unsure of where to turn. Maybe you are struggling with anxiety, depression, identity challenges, trauma, or grief. Whatever you are facing, know this: you do not have to navigate it alone. I believe healing begins when we uncover your unique strengths, understand your challenges, and rediscover who you are. Therapy is not about fixing you; it is about walking alongside you as you create your own version of wellness and fulfillment. I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) with over 3 years of experience working with individuals, families, young adults, adolescents, and older adults. My approach is warm, collaborative, and culturally informed. I often work with issues related to: • Identity (including athletic identity) • Immigration and acculturation • Depression and anxiety • Trauma • Grief and loss • Anger • Racism, sexism, and xenophobia As a first-generation Nigerian immigrant and former athlete, I bring lived experience into the room. I understand what it is like to feel lost in transition, to grieve a version of yourself, and to rebuild from uncertainty. My personal and professional journey has shaped my passion for helping others heal and thrive. I use an eclectic, client-centered approach that includes CBT, DBT, Humanistic, Solution-Focused, and Holistic modalities that are always tailored to your specific needs. If you are ready to begin your journey toward healing, self-discovery, and meaningful change, I would be honored to walk alongside you.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My goal is to help you feel heard and understood. I take a collaborative strength-based approach to therapy, which means we will work together to explore your goals and identify individual strategies that work best for you. Therapy is a personal journey, and we will go at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Once you book an appointment with me, I will contact you by email, phone call, and text to make sure that we connect prior to our appointment and I will share a link for our video visit.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In the beginning we focus on building our therapeutic relationship, helping us create a plan for our work together. Sessions will be guided by your needs and goals as we will explore your thoughts, emotions and behaviors as we introduce tools and/or strategies that may support you. As we proceed, we will reflect on your progress, as the goal is help you feel supported while building the skills and insights you need to create a healthier life.

I scheduled an appointment with this doctor, even provided pictures of my insurance card, filled out all of the requested paperwork, received multiple notifications regarding my appointment including a confirmation notification and one saying the doctor would send me an email before the appointment with the video link. I never received the email. I even checked my spam and promotions. I checked the app. Nothing. Next email I received asked me how my appointment went with the option to leave a review…
