Getting to know Summer Johnson

My ideal client is anyone who is ready to make changes to improve their life. With years of practice in working with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, ADHD, and people in recovery from alcohol or substance use, I have experience working specifically within the LGBTQIA+ community as well as with military members and their families. I've worked with people of all ages ranging from teenagers to older adults. I work to match with my clients in finding evidence based practices that work best for them, I'm trained in motivational interviewing, CBT, and DBT. I've worked in many different settings from inpatient psychiatric hospitals to primary care offices on a military base to outpatient community mental health which has allowed me to work with all types of people with a wide variety of challenges and goals.
