Getting to know Summin Dinsa

I’m sure you’re wondering if we would be a good fit, so let me share some more about myself! I am South Asian, a chronic illness warrior, traveler, foodie, dog mom, and storyteller. I’ve been working in the social work field since 2016. In 2021, while completing my Master’s in Social Work at the University of South Florida, I transitioned into psychotherapy and found my love for counseling. I am now privileged to support individuals with trauma, chronic illness, anxiety, depression, and so much more. As a therapist, I truly embody a non-judgmental, empathetic approach. You are the expert in your life, and you can be assured that your voice will always come first. Through a combination of trauma-focused, somatic, and psychodynamic approaches, your unique journey toward healing and growth will be honored and supported. Together, we will figure out what safety looks like for you, and I will always do my best to create an environment where you can learn and grow.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
