Getting to know Sunshine Wilder
Hello, my name is Sunshine Wilder and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida. In 2004, I graduated with a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of New England and have been working for the past 19 years with children, teens, and adults in various settings such as child welfare, specialized therapeutic foster care, and outpatient therapy. I have experience working with individuals with a wide range of needs such as stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, anger management, depression, ADHD, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), attachment issues, and Bipolar Disorder.
What should a new client know about working with you?
My clients often feel empowered and hopeful about their different situations after our sessions. As a therapist, my goal is to encourage my clients to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life as well as to take the first steps towards a healthy change. Deciding that you want to seek out help through therapy can feel overwhelming, but I strive to help my clients feel like they have a safe outlet to share their situation and feel hopeful after our sessions. I have many different specialties with a variety of stressors, and aim to help my clients work through their situations while staying positive and grounded. I am so excited to work together with you to create individual treatment plans/goals that are unique to you!

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
