Getting to know Dr. Susan Glass
**This provider CANNOT PRESCRIBE medication. ** I am Susan Glass, PsyD, the doctor part of Downhome Counseling with Dr. Glass. I received my PsyD in Clinical Psychology in 2012 from Alliant International University in Fresno, CA. I became a psychologist to help those who are struggling with life. No problem is too big or too small. While I am happy to work with all ages, concerns, and issues, my specialty is adolescents. Additionally, I have experience with families, young adults, and those impacted by substance use, personally or within their families. I look forward to meeting you and helping guide you to the solutions that will help you be the best "YOU" you can be!
At Downhome Counseling with Dr. Glass, I offer a range of services to meet your mental health needs. I provide individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, and group therapy. I have experience and training in a variety of areas, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.
I also offer specialized services for adolescents, families, young adults, or those struggling with the impact of substance use (personal or familial), including play therapy, art therapy, and sand tray therapy.
I understand that seeking therapy can be a difficult and sometimes intimidating process. At Downhome Counseling, I strive to make the office a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable opening up and sharing any and all thoughts and feelings. I do my best to be compassionate, supportive, and dedicated to helping you achieve your goals at your own pace.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I am straight forward and honest. I am empathic and understanding. I want you to find the answers you need, and I will guide you to that.
