Getting to know Susan Hoffman

Over the past 20 years, I have worked with individuals and families in crisis or struggling with the pressures life can bring. We all have lessons in life, and if we don't attend to the patterns and cycles that repeatedly show up, we may be limited in reaching our potential and personal goals. I believe that within each of us lies our own answers and truth. As a therapist, I have the privilege of assisting individuals in exploring their inner wisdom to discover their unique voice and path of healing. To me, healing is more than therapy alone; it encompasses living a mindful and present life while embracing those “life lessons.” My experience includes extensive work with individuals and families across the lifespan, providing individual and group parenting instruction, supporting victims of abuse and neglect, and treating substance abuse and adolescents. I utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, recognizing that each individual is unique. I also have extensive experience in creative and expressive therapeutic approaches such as art, psychodrama, and writing. Additionally, I am a certified provider of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy. I hold a Master's in Social Work from the University of Utah and a Bachelor's degree from Utah State University.

I am a Telehealth therapist certified in EMDR therapy. You can achieve great results from the comfort of your own home.
