Are you yearning for a greater sense of well-being and self-compassion? I work alongside my clients to face life's challenges head on with confidence. Together, we can explore your goals and help you find your way back to a place of balance and inner harmony. Taking a comprehensive approach, we will address the unique needs of your mind, body, and spirit, recognizing that your well-being is multifaceted. In our sessions, I integrate cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness practices, and solution-focused techniques, empowering you to build a stronger relationship with yourself and foster your own personal growth. Whether you're battling overwhelming emotions, navigating relationship difficulties, or trapped in cycles of anxiety and depression, I am here to provide the support you need. I understand that reaching out for therapy can feel daunting, but rest assured, you are making a courageous and transformative decision. You deserve a safe and non-judgmental space where you can heal, grow, and rediscover your true self. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Florida State University, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support you effectively. I look forward to working with you!

What should a new client know about working with you?

Building comfort and trust is as important as establishing personal goals in the first sessions. I love to teach different techniques and build on strengths that my clients possess. As we move forward, we collaborate to take steps toward the overall goals through talk therapy, practicing skills in sessions, and real world practice of skills.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Susan provides options for solutions and encourages me to try new things I have not tried before without being pushy or micromanaging about the options.
Susan provides amazing feedback and makes me feel heard. I love that she always asks me questions pertaining to whatever subject we’re on. Overall great experience and it took me about 4 tries until I finally found Susan. I’m super happy with my choice.

She has been great to talk to, when I skip a week I’m like omg I need to talk to Susan again, I have so much to tell her!! She’s just overall a great person and hears you when you’re talking. She listens and asks you very good questions like are you overthinking this? Or what if it didn’t turn out the way you think it will, what would happen then?
