I'm Susan Martz, LPC, MSEd. As a licensed therapist, I'm here to guide you toward feeling better. I'm your go-to counselor for supporting women, kids, and teens. Feeling sad, anxious, overwhelmed, unable to manage daily tasks, or worried about your child's behaviors or mood? In our sessions, we’ll work together to build confidence, set healthy boundaries, and shift unhelpful thought patterns that lead to success. I’ll hold a safe, nurturing space for you or your child to develop new skills, explore parts of yourself, practice mindfulness, process difficult emotions, and find more peace and happiness. I specialize in working with teens, kids, and women experiencing anxiety, depression, and those who are highly sensitive. I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2013 with a Master of Science in Education in Mental Health Counseling. I have worked with children since 2009 and adults since 2013. In therapy, we will navigate tough thoughts and emotions and uncover their roots. We’ll use techniques like CBT, tapping, mindfulness, internal family systems, and self-compassion to explore your experiences and parts, set boundaries, and shift unhelpful thoughts to give you energy and peace. Kids will enjoy play, art, and yoga alongside coping skills practice. I bring authenticity, spirituality, intuition, and humor to your sessions. It’s time to tackle what’s holding you back and feel more ease. Sessions are relaxed and supportive.
