Susan Quintana is an experienced therapist specializing in the treatment of children and teens. She received her Master's in Education in Psychology from Texas Tech University in 1994 and has been in the teaching and counseling fields ever since. In her 20+ year career as a child-centered therapist, Ms. Quintana has had the opportunity to work with children in a variety of settings. She has a passion for helping children who feel lost, anxious, or are experiencing difficulties in school. She is specifically trained in childhood trauma and mood disorders. Ms. Quintana utilizes CBT, Play, and Person-Centered therapy to help children and their families. Prior to her work with LifeStance, she was the Director of Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) for 12 years and has worked at the New Horizons Ranch treatment center for youth, as well as serving many in private practice.
