Getting to know Susan Resnik
Susan holds a Mental Health Counseling license for the state of Florida. She has been practicing since 2013 and maintains a nurturing and compassionate approach to working with her clients. Susan has Master of Education- Counseling Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts-Psychology from McGill University. Susan is a certified SYMBIS facilitator- (Saving Your Marriage Before It Begins). She has a varied practice helping teens, adults and couples in the areas of anxiety management, stress management, communication skills, premarital counseling and divorce recovery. Susan brings a special skillset of being able to put into words what clients have difficulty expressing, creating a moment of insight. The focus of the session is on client's needs and goals. Clients have a safe space to share their concerns and are directed to valuable resources for their support. Susan became a therapist as she sought out her own therapy on her life's journey and wanted to help others to overcome their life challenges with validation and emotional support. Susan enjoys playing with her Boxer pet Ivy, cooking, swimming and listening to music.
