I have been working as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor since 2015 and hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. In addition, I have over 30 years of experience as a social worker in health care. My practicum and internship were with hospice, where I became trained in end-of-life, grief, and bereavement counseling. As a social worker, I primarily engaged with clients adjusting to life changes such as retirement and loss of functional and cognitive ability. As a counselor, I work with teenagers and adults individually, as couples, and with families. My practice is LGBTQ+ affirming, and I specialize in dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), grief counseling, and supportive counseling. I am certified in hypnotherapy and am finalizing certification as a trauma professional. I am eager to learn and enjoy training to broaden my skill set. I see a variety of clients with a range of diagnoses; therefore, my approach to counseling is integrative. I draw from different theoretical perspectives such as DBT, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), supportive therapy, mindfulness, and Rogerian therapy, which allows me to provide a tailored approach for my clients. In the community, I remain active with several counseling and community organizations, such as PFLAG, LGBTQ+ Affirming Therapists, and DBT Therapists of Central Florida, which help me stay informed and provide peer supervision and consultation.

Broke boundary and called me crazy and said I should never procreate or have children bc I was crazy. Literally said it's a good thing you dont have children.
I would never be that disrespectful to anyone or tell them to sterilize themselves.
Then she gaslit and said she didnt say that. Full refund or apology will be required.
