Hi, I’m Susana. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by depression, anxiety, trauma, or major life changes, you may be longing for clarity, relief, or simply a place where you can breathe. You deserve support that feels safe, compassionate, and grounded in genuine care. My hope is to offer you a space where you can explore your story with curiosity and self-compassion, without judgment or pressure. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, supervised by Lindsey D. Taylor, MS, LPC-S, NCC, CSC. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Sam Houston State University. Before beginning my counseling work in the United States, I spent ten years providing therapy in Mexico, supporting adults, couples, and families. I also bring 15 years of corporate experience from HP Inc., which strengthened my ability to support people through stress, transitions, and high-pressure environments. These experiences shape my culturally responsive and bilingual (Spanish/English) approach.

I work with young adults, adults, immigrants, bilingual clients, trauma survivors, and couples. I’m especially connected to supporting people navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My work is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and trauma-informed practices. You might be carrying more than you’ve shared with anyone. You may be trying to stay strong for others while feeling disconnected from yourself. In therapy, we’ll slow down, make room for your emotions, and work together to understand what you need. I show up with authenticity, warmth, and a steady presence, meeting you exactly where you are in your healing process.
