My name is Susie, and I have over 17 years of experience in clinical social work. I earned my Master's in Social Work from the State University of New York, Albany, in 2005. I have been a licensed clinical social worker for more than five years and am currently licensed in multiple states. I have extensive experience working with individuals facing mood disorders such as anxiety, depression, and grief, as well as those navigating acute life stressors and changes.
I understand that starting therapy can feel scary or anxiety-provoking, so I'm glad you've taken this step. I am hopeful we can work together to guide you toward a path of healing.
What should a new client know about working with you?
You can expect to be challenged during the sessions and be provided with applicable "tools" you can use and apply to the real world. Additionally-you can also expect to be provided with active listening during the sessions and not just heard but also understood.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
