She has worked in various therapeutic settings, including a local women's center, several partial hospitalization programs, intensive outpatient programs, psychiatric hospitals, contract therapy work for the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, and private practice. She completed her 700-hour practicum/internship at the Montgomery County Women's Center, where she provided individual and group counseling to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.
