Psychotherapist
OK
Hi there, I'm Suzanne! I help teens and adults better understand themselves, navigate life’s stressors, and build practical tools to feel more confident, connected, and in control. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, or simply feeling overwhelmed, therapy can be a powerful space to slow down, reflect, and find your way forward. I believe each person has an inner sense of the life they're meant to live. My role is to help you reconnect with that part of yourself by exploring what’s getting in the way and learning how to care for your mind and emotions more intentionally. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I’ll meet you where you are, without judgment, and walk with you as you move toward greater self-awareness, healing, and growth. My approach I draw from evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and trauma-informed care to support lasting change. My style is collaborative and compassionate. I believe that therapy should feel like a partnership, where you feel understood and supported with each step. With teen clients, I encourage them to have a say in how their parents are involved in their process. If they prefer to focus on their growth, I offer for parents to join a session every six weeks or so to share observations and offer support. However, if improving communication or strengthening the parent-teen relationship is a goal, we may schedule monthly sessions to support that effort. My focus Anxiety, depression, and traumatic experiences can be overwhelming, but you don't have to move through them alone. I believe in the deep connection between our mind, body, and heart, and I am committed to ongoing learning so I can offer current, relevant, and practical strategies that truly support coping and resilience. Together, we'll develop a personalized growth plan, one that feels both empowering and achievable. My role is to walk alongside you.
