My name is Suzelle Guinart, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida. I hold a Master of Education in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Florida and have over 11 years of experience working with adults and young adults. I specialize in issues related to self-esteem and self-worth challenges, depression, anxiety, grief, loss, suicide prevention, and life transitions. I also provide LGBTQ+ affirming treatment to individuals who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, gender non-binary, questioning, or queer. Additionally, I work with the parents and loved ones of LGBTQ+ individuals seeking guidance or support. I take a holistic view of treatment and use a mix of evidence-based techniques, including cognitive-behavioral frameworks, mindfulness-based techniques, Motivational Interviewing, and emotional intelligence development. My goal is to help you understand yourself more fully and define what happiness truly means to you. I believe that developing increased awareness, personal growth, positive change, and emotional healing is possible! Through collaborative talk therapy and meaningful connection, we will work together to improve your ability to identify, resolve, and accept life's challenges, ultimately beginning the journey of creating the life you want to live!
