Hello! My name is Suzette Gordon. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida, with over 20 years of experience as a psychotherapist and life coach. I graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a Master's degree in Mental Health Therapy. Over the years, I have worked with many different populations, including children, teenagers, adults, couples, and families. My experience spans various settings such as schools, inpatient residential treatment programs, foster homes, group homes, and private practice. I have spent many years helping children, teens, and families navigate life through the foster care system. I am confident and comfortable supporting you through life challenges that may contribute to low self-esteem, depression, and anxiety. Additionally, I have experience addressing parenting issues, relationship concerns, grief and loss, family dynamics, and significant trauma-related matters.
My counseling style is warm and approachable. I am empathic, an excellent listener, and I strongly encourage active interaction from my clients. I believe it's important for us to work together as a team so you can grow and uncover your potential for positive change and self-healing.
