Do you feel stuck in flight, fight, or freeze mode? You’re trying to figure out who you are, but it feels messy, confusing, and overwhelming. You can’t seem to quiet your mind cause its running through the past, over-analyzing decisions, and worrying if you’re getting it “right.” You deserve to feel relief: to feel less anxious, less stuck, and more like yourself. I work with teens, 20-somethings, & 30-somethings navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship struggles, identity and life changes. Together, we’ll cut through the noise, untangle old patterns, help you feel your feelings, and support you to feel grounded, seen, and confident.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I integrate cognitive and somatic approaches to help your mind and body work together toward healing, including EMDR therapy to process past experiences and reduce emotional triggers. I balance empathy with honest feedback to help you move forward. Sometimes there will be laughter and sometimes tears. All feelings are welcome in the therapy space. Many of my clients belong to socially marginalized groups and find our sessions are a safe, supportive space. If you’re ready to feel more grounded, confident, and in control of your life, I’d love to support you.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I take a collaborative approach and usually start sessions by checking in together about what would feel most helpful that day. Sometimes that means talking through current stressors, other times it looks like noticing patterns from the past or slowing down to better understand emotions and how the nervous system is responding. I try to integrate mindfulness of both the mind and body in each session and tailor the work to each client’s preferences and pace. My goal is for sessions to feel supportive, grounding, and intentional rather than one-size-fits-all.
