Hi, I’m Sylvia. With an MSW degree from Washington University in St. Louis, MO, and over twenty years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I am passionate about helping individuals navigate the complexities of life. I am deeply fascinated by people and find immense gratification in assisting clients to identify, work through, and resolve the issues that matter most to them. I specialize in working with adults dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, trauma resolution, substance use and abuse, aging, and more. My approach is rooted in leveraging each person’s unique strengths and abilities, increasing resiliency, resolving past trauma, and supporting desired changes in thought and behavior patterns. I’m an avid reader, sports fan, and movie buff. I have a penchant for tackling one insane crochet project after another. Gardening is a passion of mine until the summer heat kicks in, and while I love to cook, I’m not as fond of the cleanup that follows. I adore puns and relish intellectual challenges. I have a wonderful husband, a daughter, and the cutest grand-dog in the world. It is a great pleasure to work with and learn from people each day.
