Her commitment has led to many years of providing counseling to individuals and families who have survived traumatic experiences, to developing and running programs aimed at preventing and treating individuals and families impacted by abuse, and also to serving on both local and state-wide committees aimed at preventing abuse and advocating on behalf of children and families who have been impacted by abuse.
