Psychotherapist

Do you feel weighed down by the past? Have memories of past experiences been blocking you from finding peace in the present? You are not alone—many people share this struggle. Often, people spend their lives trying to avoid, minimize, or erase those memories. This can be painful, defeating, and exhausting because those memories often won’t go away. Imagine what it would be like to feel unburdened. It is possible! I have helped clients achieve this through cognitive-based therapies, mindfulness, psychoeducation, and modalities such as EMDR and tapping. It’s not an easy process, but within a therapeutic relationship that is encouraging, supportive, and safe, it can be done. My passion is helping adults who struggle with negative self-image, anxiety, depression, and trauma-related triggers. For over 10 years, I have worked to help clients restore a healthier sense of self. I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling from Texas Wesleyan University, which has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to support my clients effectively.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I work primarily with clients struggling with the aftereffects of difficult experiences. During our initial sessions, we will discuss current issues, collaborate in creating therapeutic goals and create a plan that will help you successfully achieve those goals. Most of my clients experience a gradual lift in symptoms within the first month and continue to progressively improve thereafter.
