Getting to know Tabitha Winesberry

You may want to work on relationship issues, boost self-esteem, find freedom from feeling “stuck,” or simply want someone to join you in the process of understanding yourself better. Whatever brings you into therapy, the clinical approaches I use are strength-based—focusing on your strengths—and are proven effective for both short- and long-term therapy. I conduct thorough initial assessments to identify historical cycles, roadblocks, and other relevant factors before the therapeutic process begins. I believe that starting with a clear understanding of a client’s past experiences and current issues, along with a collaborative therapist-client relationship in a safe environment, are key ingredients for therapeutic progress. Most of my clients present with symptoms of anxiety, depression, or trauma. In an empathetic environment, clients are encouraged to share and work at a pace that feels comfortable. Some of my treatment modalities include Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Therapy. From the initial assessment and throughout the therapeutic process, my goal is to honor the uniqueness of your journey and help you find more fulfillment in life. I hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Azusa Pacific University, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support individuals and families through their healing and growth.
