Tajhae Curinton, LPC

Psychotherapist
GA
I work with individuals and families who feel overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally stuck, or unsure how to move forward—especially during major life transitions such as pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, and relationship changes. My ideal clients are seeking not only relief from distress but also deeper understanding, practical tools, and a sense of confidence in themselves and their decisions. Many of the people I support are navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or moments of crisis that feel difficult to manage alone. They may be new or expecting parents adjusting to the emotional and physical demands of childbirth and early parenting, or individuals experiencing stress, identity shifts, or uncertainty about their next steps. They often want to feel more grounded, improve communication in their relationships, and regain a sense of balance and control in their lives. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can safely explore your experiences and emotions. My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded in evidence-based practices, helping you build coping skills, strengthen resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change. I tailor each session to your unique needs, meeting you where you are while gently guiding you toward your goals. In addition to my counseling work, I bring specialized training as a certified labor and delivery doula, certified childbirth educator, and certified lactation/breastfeeding specialist. This allows me to offer holistic support for clients in the perinatal and postpartum stages, addressing both emotional well-being and practical concerns. Whether you are preparing for birth, adjusting to life with a newborn, or coping with unexpected challenges, I integrate this knowledge to provide comprehensive, informed care.
