Getting to know Tamar Joseph
Have you ever been blindsided by life? Do you ever feel overwhelmed by your feelings and emotions? Are you having difficulty balancing and navigating through relationships, finances, and/or your career? Do you compare yourself to people who seem to have it all figured out? Trust me, we have all been there trying to figure out this beautiful thing called LIFE. It is my passion to assist people navigating through the highs and lows of their personal life. I like to view our sessions as collaborations to help you put things in perspective and hopefully obtain the solutions you seek. My desire is to empower you to live the life that you want to live.
I hold a Master's degree in Forensic Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I have experience working in various settings such as schools, jails/prisons, and in the community. Because of my clinical experiences and background, I can provide a non-judgmental approach for you to speak freely about any life situation. Let's get through life together.
What should a new client know about working with you?
Taking the step to see a therapist can be daunting, therefore, expect to be seen and heard with absolutely no judgment. Allow yourself to express your thoughts and feelings. Share your past and current experiences. Moving forward we will set personalized goals that contribute to improving your quality of life.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
