She began working with people with dissociative disorders, which prepared her to help others with challenges such as relationships (both professional and personal), LGBTQ+ issues, anxiety and depression, trauma, substance abuse issues, boundary development, women’s issues and aging. Tamara believes in a holistic outlook to treatment. She uses an integrated approach to therapy, accessing helpful aspects of many different therapeutic approaches. She prides herself in creating and holding a safe, relaxing and authentic space where her clients may be honest and courageous on their journey to wellness. On a personal note, she enjoys traveling, spending time on warm beaches and quality time with family.
