Getting to know Tami Stieber

My approach to therapy is to gain a deeper and broader understanding of how and why someone is struggling. From there, I individualize my work to each and every person I meet. Early on in my career, I worked in a residential treatment facility for women who had been facing challenges in the correctional system. Their stories of lifelong struggles within their families were breathtaking at times. However, as I watched them work through the therapeutic process and come out the other side with self-confidence and determination to live a healthy, fulfilling life, it was truly inspiring. I knew then that I wanted to work in this field, helping people lead more satisfying lives. I hold a Master in Social Work from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin, which have equipped me with a strong foundation to support my clients effectively. Sometimes we don't know what holds us back, but using therapy to propel us forward is pure resilience. Let me help you move forward toward a more fulfilling life.
