In this role, she provided individual therapy, early intervention, and crisis intervention to adult clients with dual diagnosis. With an interest in working with children, Tamika joined the Parsons Child and Family Center – Capital Regional Child and Adolescent Mobile Crisis Team for 4 years as a per diem Crisis Intervention Specialist. In this role, she provided face to face crisis assessments of children and adolescents experiencing an emotional and/or behavioral crisis. She also worked at the Hudson Mohawk Recovery Center – Substance Abuse Intensive Program for 3 years as a per diem group facilitator. In this role, she co-facilitated educational group therapy sessions and lectures on substance abuse and addiction.
