Getting to know Tammi C Walker

My approach toward my clients is warm and compassionate. All of us can face challenging times in our lives, but with the right support, we can get through them. I use mindfulness, CBT, and narrative therapy, just to name a few, to help my clients. One step at a time, you can reach the life you so deserve. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Dominican University and a Bachelor’s degree from Concordia University Chicago, which have equipped me with the knowledge and skills to provide effective, empathetic care.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Once you are working with me my style is warm and caring. I will get to know you and will actively listen to you. Together we will approach your challenges with authenticity.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

A typical session will consist of a check in and seeing where you are. After that we will dive in and see what areas are challenging. After actively listening together we will come up with goals and areas of concern. Together we can work on these areas with homework, workbooks, videos combined with talk therapy to help you along your journey.
