Getting to know Tammy Desko

Welcome! I am licensed to practice therapy in Texas. Thank you for taking the first step. My goal is to create an environment where you feel safe, heard, and valued through Telehealth. My desire is to listen to the many transitions you go through in life, providing practical tools that you can use in daily life for a fuller life and healthier relationships. I know making the first appointment can be hard and scary. I hope to talk to you soon. My areas of expertise are in Anxiety, Depression, Women Issues, Life Transition, Christian Counseling and Self-Esteem issues. I use a Eclectic and Holistic approach to help my clients bring out the best in themselves. I like to use humor, challenging questions, and a warm open-minded approach. Selecting a therapist can be difficult because it's not easy to know exactly who you are getting. "Will this person really know what she is talking about? Will she actually be able to help me?" These questions are the norm for clients and uncertainty comes with the territory of what you are searching for. I hope that you become a better and stronger you.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
