Getting to know Tammy Lee Taylor

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor licensed in Pennsylvania with over 17 years of experience working as a psychotherapist and family therapist. I hold a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University. I have worked with clients facing a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, OCD, and ADHD. I have also helped many people who have experienced trauma, addiction, and abuse. My counseling style is motivational and encouraging. I believe in treating people with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. Motivating people to help themselves has provided past clients with long-term success. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic, and rational-emotive counseling. I tailor our communication and treatment plan to meet your specific needs. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps toward change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you. I look forward to working with you!

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach is based on client/therapist work together as a team. I believe that therapy should be what you need it to be to reach your goals. Sessions can be challenging and empowering, in some cases they can be fun. I will support you in being self-aware and determine what you want to accomplish.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

I appreciate that working with us as a couple she was able to create a safe place for both of us to speak honestly and freely…engaging us both in such a way that we did want to keep coming back. For my husband who has been very skeptical, this is been critical for us and our relationship.
