"Hello there! I'm Tammy, and it's so good to meet you! I’m a dedicated, fully licensed and board-certified professional counselor who’s passionate about supporting individuals on their journey to wellness. I use 'talk therapies' to provide therapeutic support, guidance, clinical insight/education, and advocacy for those I serve. I’ve contributed nearly 20 years of clinical practice in the mental health field. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Georgia and a master’s degree in Rehabilitation Psychology from the University of Wisconsin. A doctoral degree in Counseling is in progress… we’re in the home stretch! A little about me: I am a native of northeast Georgia. I’m a mother of three (18, 15 – special needs, and 9) and four fur-babies (cats): Hermione, Bellatrix, Draco, and Percy. Sense a Harry Potter theme here? I’m a huge fan of Magic: The Gathering, all things Disney, Marvel/MCU, Supernatural, The Boys, and penguins because I believe them to be the cutest and silliest of all creatures! I enjoy time with family and friends, spending time at the gym, focusing on improving my own strength and endurance, graphic design, walking around aimlessly in bookstores, attending conventions and spreading positive light as best I can. In case you're wondering what to expect with the first session (intake), our initial visit will involve a medical history review, an assessment of your specific symptoms and concerns, and possible diagnostic measures to evaluate overall health, and discuss treatment options. This may sound scary, but I assure you, others find this initial meeting to be very therapeutic and tend to feel a lot more relaxed and confident by the time we conclude the session. My goal is to minimize some of that anxious distress that we tend to have in the very beginning. Sessions generally last between 50-60 minutes.

The doctor never showed up for the appointment! I also didn't get a response to the message I sent. Very disappointing!
