My name is Tammy Patrick. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. I earned my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke Controllers Office. I have worked in schools, residential, and community services supporting children, adolescents, adults, older adults, and families. I use a variety of techniques to meet the individual needs of each client. Counseling is designed to help you gain greater insight into your life and build awareness, compassion, understanding, respect, empathy, and acceptance toward yourself and others.
Working together, we will identify the issues and/or triggers you may be experiencing and explore ways to overcome, work through, and move forward from those stumbling blocks. I will collaborate with you to find the best solutions for long-term change. I work with children, adolescents, and adults through individual and family sessions.
I provide unconditional positive regard, a safe environment, and nonjudgmental active listening to foster the therapeutic relationship. I am authentic with my clients and create a welcoming environment for all people. I strive to provide nonjudgmental feedback to support you in reaching your goals. My goal is to ensure you feel seen and heard throughout our work together.
