Tammy Snyder, LPC

Psychotherapist
TN
Hi, I am Tammy. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Memphis. I also earned an M.Ed. from Freed-Hardeman University. I have experience providing therapy to adults and children who have experienced various types of trauma. I have also provided services for clients dealing with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, anger management, difficulties with life transitions, stress, self-esteem struggles, and generational challenges. Before choosing to serve as a Clinical Mental Health Therapist, I was an elementary school teacher for 11 years. From my many experiences, I have come to understand that life happens and everyone needs an advocate. My previous experiences and motivation to help others are major reasons why I have strived to make a substantial impact on both adults and adolescents. I understand there are times when life becomes difficult. Obstacles present themselves, and sometimes one just needs guidance on how to overcome or cope. For those times, I am here to help clients move forward toward mentally healthier lives.
