Hi, I'm Tammy!
Has life been feeling overwhelming lately? Do you wish you could talk to someone and share all those thoughts and feelings you keep hidden from others while struggling to get through the day? Would you like someone who can listen-really listen-and help you find your way back to yourself?
I help clients of all ages and stages find their inner strength and empower themselves. I will work with you to fill your toolbox with strategies to manage anxiety, depression, and life changes such as parenthood, empty nest, caregiving, and end of life. We will use a whole-self approach incorporating mindfulness, inner child healing, and evidence-based techniques to help bring your mind, body, and soul back into balance.
You know yourself best, and I strive to assist you in healing and releasing what is holding you back from living your best life. Taking this first step can be scary, but you are so worth it! I would be honored to be part of your journey. Let's work together!
I hold a Master's in Social Work from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, which informs my compassionate and effective approach to therapy.
What should a new client know about working with you?
During our first session I will get to know you better and together we will create goals based on what areas of your life you would like to improve. In subsequent sessions we will explore what is holding you back and I will introduce strategies that you can practice during the time between sessions to make positive changes in your life and improve your overall mental and physical health. Finally, we will work together to determine when you've met your goals and are ready to end therapy with your new tool box of strategies and a new outlook on life.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
