I earned my Bachelor's degree from Central Connecticut State University and my Master's in Social Work from Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service. I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of individuals from various backgrounds, communities, and age groups, including adults, adolescents, and children aged 9 and older. My approach focuses on providing culturally competent, trauma-informed care to help you navigate life's challenges, such as life transitions, relationships, feelings of depression or anxiety, trauma, substance use, and other mental health needs. What should a new client know about working with you?

I work with clients who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other various life stressors. Additionally, I have a background in addiction and substance use. I believe in a collaborative approach, so our initial sessions will focus on understanding your treatment goals and desires. Together, we will create a plan to help you achieve your goals and enhance your day-to-day living.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In my practice, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help address negative thoughts while integrating Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and mindfulness techniques to help you manage distressing emotions. Additionally, I incorporate Prolonged Exposure therapy to aid recovery from severe trauma symptoms.
