Dorocak, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from National University, has worked in various mental health settings since 1999. She enjoys working with children of all ages, adults, couples, and groups. Tanya is skilled at quickly building trust and rapport with clients, supporting brief, solution-focused therapy whenever possible. She also has special training in expressive arts therapy, EMDR, and clinical hypnotherapy. Tanya’s areas of special interest include anxiety disorders, somatization disorders, premarital and couples counseling, pregnancy, infertility, childbirth, child development, and parenting issues. Her experience as a single mother of a young adult and an active young child helps shape her therapeutic approaches. As a former Marine, Tanya has a special understanding of the military lifestyle. For rest and relaxation, she enjoys gardening, cooking, and sharing activities with her family.
