Life can change in an instant with a medical diagnosis or the loss of someone very close. As a medical social worker, my passion lies in supporting children, adults, and families navigating the emotional impact of serious health challenges and grief. Whether you or your child are facing a life-threatening illness, managing a chronic condition, or coping with pain, I offer a compassionate space to process, heal, and grow. I specialize in treating medical trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and loss. I provide age appropriate emotional and practical support and advocacy to children with health issues, siblings and parents.
The emotional and physical pain is real as is the isolation and fear that many experience. Many patients "don't look sick" or appear healthier than they are, so it can be challenging for others to understand living with a chronic or life-threatening illness that in many cases becomes the focus of your life. I will support you through the journey.

What should a new client know about working with you?
I have been in the field of medical social work since 2005. Prior to recently transitioning into private practice, I worked at various top teaching hospitals in New York City which included Columbia Presbyterian Children's Hospital and NYU Langone Health. I am licensed in North Carolina, New York, Florida credentialed to provide telehealth care to residents of South Carolina who pay privately.
