Tara Walters, LCSW

Tara Walters, LCSW

Psychotherapist
PA
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Arizona, and received my Master's in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Social Work, in 1994. I work collaboratively with my clients, meeting them where they are, to reveal and dismantle the mechanisms that inhibit healthy and meaningful relationships with others-and most importantly, within themselves. I use an integrative approach combining interpersonal, cognitive, behavioral, and family systems to address clients' issues. I work from a non-judgmental, strengths-based perspective, assisting and supporting clients to be their best selves. During the therapy process, I help clients discover their strengths, build a support system, and develop a healthy lifestyle to set the foundation for life success-moving clients from surviving to thriving.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
