I am passionate about working with marginalized groups. I have experienced challenges myself as a woman and a minority. I like to be of support to others who have experienced adversity. I have treated individuals with stress; anxiety; depression; anger management; relationship issues; identity issues; life transitions; grief and trauma. Cognitive behavioral therapy; motivational interviewing and acceptance and commitment therapy are some of the modalities I utilize. Thus; I work from a person-centered approach. I am willing to move at a pace that is best suited for you in the therapeutic process.
