Getting to know Tasha Sarvis

Hi, I’m so glad you’re here! Reaching out for support takes courage, and you’ve already taken the first step. I’m the founder of Sarvis Psychotherapy, where I provide telehealth therapy for adults 18 and up who are navigating life’s ups, downs, and everything in between. Whether you're feeling anxious, stuck, overwhelmed, or just need someone to talk to who won’t judge your midnight overthinking spirals—I’m here, willing to listen! My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I use evidence-based therapies like CBT, Mindfulness, and Narrative Therapy, and I believe healing can involve both deep insight and the occasional laugh (yes, therapy can be serious—but it doesn't have to be all serious). You deserve a space where you feel heard, safe, and valued. Let’s work together to help you reconnect with your strengths and move toward a life that feels more like you. Expect to hear from me upon booking!

What should a new client know about working with you?

Working with me means entering a supportive, judgment-free space where your voice matters. I believe therapy should feel safe, collaborative, and even a little enjoyable—yes, we can laugh and do the hard work! We'll explore your goals together and create a treatment plan that fits your unique needs, pace, and personality. I’ll meet you where you are, offer tools that make sense for your life, and always respect your autonomy in the healing process.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

A typical session with me is relaxed, collaborative, and tailored to you. We’ll start by checking in—what’s on your mind, what’s been coming up for you, and what you’d like to focus on. From there, we’ll dive into meaningful conversation, using a mix of evidence-based tools like CBT, mindfulness, and narrative therapy, depending on your needs. I may gently challenge your thinking, help you reframe patterns, or offer coping skills—all while creating a space where you feel seen, supported, and never judged. And yes, we might even laugh now and then—therapy doesn’t have to be all heavy, all the time. My goal is for you to leave each session feeling a little lighter, more grounded, and more connected to yourself.

Tasha is such a wonderful soul! Not only did we catch the vibe from the first moments, but we also realized during our introduction that our values align, which is very important to me when choosing a therapist.
