Tasha Turay, LPCMH

Psychotherapist
DE
I currently provide services for children, adolescents, and adults — roughly ages 12 through 65 — who feel stuck, disconnected, or overwhelmed, especially those navigating foster care, alternative schools, inpatient treatment, or crisis. Many struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, or school avoidance. Some have never had a therapist who understood their world. I work with at-risk youth, LGBTQ+ adolescents, and multicultural clients. Drawing from CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Care, I help clients build real tools and move forward with clarity. I specialize in adolescents and also work with young adults and adults. I offer telehealth therapy for anxiety, depression, trauma, school struggles, foster care transitions, and life changes. My approach is direct, warm, and grounded in 15+ years across schools, crisis response, and behavioral health. Having spent my career inside Delaware's schools, crisis systems, & behavioral health settings, I bring something rare. I don't just treat the child, I understand the environment the child has to function in. That school-sensitive, systems-aware perspective makes a real difference. Evening & weekend availability. You do not have to have it all figured out!
