What should a new client know about working with you?

I have over 7 years of experience in various mental health settings such as hospitals, veteran's population, residential rehabs, and outpatient clinics. A vast majority of my work has focused on anxiety, trauma, depression, stress management, couples therapy and substance use. As a Navy Veteran, I pride myself on the honor of being a participant in one's healing, the courage to accept the challenge in being an aid and advocate for the mental health community, and the commitment to serve those in need.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Typically clients will come in and check in with therapist, sharing thoughts, feelings, and concerns of the client. Therapy will explore those thoughts and feelings, and provide skills and tools to help the client navigate those thoughts. Sometimes goals or task maybe established to also achieve results.Toward the end of the session, your therapist will usually recap key points and check in on how you’re feeling.
