After intake, sessions typically include: a check-in on current stressors and progress. identifying patterns in thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships. skill-building using evidence-based tools (often CBT/DBT/ACT strategies). practicing coping skills (mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance). for couples: communication tools, conflict patterns, and connection-building exercises. We’ll track progress over time and adjust the plan as your needs evolve, so therapy stays relevant and supportive.
