Getting to know Tatiana Rohner

Hello! I am a bilingual therapist passionate about working with clients from diverse backgrounds and cultures. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago and a Bachelor's degree from Universidad de los Andes. Since 2014, I have been offering services to clients who have experienced trauma and intense emotions such as sadness, fear, anger, worry, and low self-esteem, which may affect their interpersonal relationships. I provide a safe space for clients to process their feelings and experiences, teaching skills to help regulate emotions and improve quality of life. I believe healing occurs through creating and promoting a safe therapeutic relationship.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I offer my clients support and skills to help them live with purpose and overcome the different barriers they find in their environment. I am a native Spanish speaker and am happy to provide services in either language. I look forward to supporting you in achieving your psychological and emotional goals.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I use a psychodynamic lens focusing on the client's attachments and object relations. I also integrate the knowledge acquired in training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Perinatal Mood Disorders, and Somatic Experiences to teach my clients skills to help their nervous system feel safe and regulate their emotions.
