Hi there, I'm Tavia! I'm not a blank slate type of therapist. I offer a safe place to share your thoughts, struggles, and even successes. I truly believe that empowered people can face any challenge that comes their way. Supporting those who are willing to face their fears and connect the dots across various life experiences allows for great therapeutic work to be done for any client.
I hold a Master's in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from Southern University and Agricultural & Mechanical College in Baton Rouge. Don't give up on your goals or your needs. My practice is devoted in being a safe environment where compassion and being challenged is key. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma symptoms, life transitions, workplace conflict, and common stressors. Helping people gain awareness, find solutions, and getting unstuck is my passion. My career is my passion.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits
