Hi, I am Tawanica.

You don't have to struggle or go through life alone. I am here to assist and guide you through whichever season of life you are in. I specialize in working with diverse populations including adolescents, youth, families, and adults experiencing difficulty with life's transitional stages. You may be facing depression, anxiety, PTSD, eating difficulties, conduct or behavior disorders, and more.
I hold a Master's in Social Work from Jackson State University. My therapeutic style is open, honest, and accepting, and it may vary depending on the developmental stage of the client. Some of the interventions I use include active listening, cognitive behavioral therapy, and solution-focused techniques. Let me assist you-whether it is learning coping skills, problem-solving skills, mindfulness, or even self-care techniques.
What should a new client know about working with you?
My goal is to provide a safe and open place for my clients. I am hoping after the first session, you feel welcome and a sense of comfort. Moving forward, I will assist you with providing evidence-based techniques to be able to utilize when life throws those unexpected curve balls.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
