Getting to know Taylor Kleshick

Taylor received her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Taylor treats children, adolescents, families, and adults experiencing a variety of challenges including trauma, anxiety, depression, adoption related concerns, relationship issues, grief and parenting issues. Taylor works primarily with children and adolescents who have experienced abuse, trauma, relationship issues, anxiety and depression. Taylor has training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Trust Based Relational Interventions. Taylor utilizes a variety of approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused, Mindfulness, Gestalt and Bowen Family therapy to assist children, adolescents, and families work towards building healthy relationships and learn to cope with stressful life events in healthy ways. Prior to joining Chupik Counseling, Taylor worked in an emergency shelter providing crisis and trauma therapy to adolescent females who were survivors of human trafficking. Taylor has experience working with children and adolescents in both an outpatient and residential setting struggling with trauma, depression, anxiety, substance use, behavior concerns, and school-related issues.
